I am looking for the timing marks on a jeep 2.7 5 cylinder diesel engine fitted to jeep grand cherokee 2001 model
The engine was stripped for repairs but it will not start. But i think the pump are not timed properly.

my guess it cranks ok.
fuses ok
immobilizer not active, SKIS/SKIM.?
so compression is at spec.
and if it is ,test fuel diesel works?????
Glow plugs work? (we measure current)
then filters
then pump
scan pcm for errors, not all errors glow the silly CEL lamp.
