Husqvarna is a good mower, depends on the shape (blades, tires, belts etc.) if you dont mind how much are you planing on buying it for? And ill give you a shop owners point of view as far as the not starting goes, could be as simple as a carb cleaning, maybe a new spark plug (rarely the case) or could need a new carb all together, or not getting spark and needs coils, the possibilities are endless. So my final words are 300 bucks or below take the chance (if its in like new condition that is) anything higher then that, spend the money on a new one with warrenty and youll have no worries.
My two cents is I love the Husqvarna /Sears/AYP mowers, but I hat the Briggs Intek or Vanguard engines. Never opened one up that I could fix, the rod breaks and destroys everything inside, the skirts on the cylinders and pistons ,the cam shaft .The Intek was a throw away engine from the beginning. 244 HR. Buy new, buy a extended warranty , hang onto your paper work. Or think about the worst it could be ,a new engine https://www.kohler-engine-parts.opeengines.com/briggs-stratton-engines-parts/briggs-stratton-engine-specials/briggs-stratton-engine-44s877-0001-g1-24-hp-724cc-free-ship?cPath=Array&gclid=Cj0KEQjwipi4BRD7t6zGl6m75IgBEiQAn7CfF0v5dw-2krbkP9wI6Zk0UDum749iL-0OuQksyopspo4aAmFM8P8HAQ
It depends on the fault or problem it bears . I suggest to buy new instead of used , because it must be rusted and corrosion so it will continuously give you problems to repair and spending money .
ok cool. you must start it drive it and see if it has any abnormal sound, smoke .jerky motion or heavy/hard steering be turning it fully on both right and left . if its ok , it must be okok cool. you must start it drive it and see if it has any abnormal sound, smoke .jerky motion or heavy/hard steering be turning it fully on both right and left . if its ok , it must be ok
