Normally it would not be pressed on as it would tend to bent the crank. It may be tapered and keyed and rusted on or it may be straight and keyed and rusted on . You may have to use wd-40 to release the rust or a puller and heat to get it off.. The impellor may be screwed on and may just require a tap to start undoing it.
