I am unable to connect to friends webcams. I see that my Cyberlink webcam is downloaded with no problem & she feels hers is downloaded. I have a messanger account. Any thoughts

Have you tried using Yahoo or MSN messenger itself? They both support webcam use.
For more webcam troubleshooting, please check this How to fix webcam problems article. Might be network related, but I do not know which ports Cyberlink uses.
