I am unable to load cotton onto my bobbin it has been awhile since using the machine, i have wound the cotton onto bobbin and clicked it across stepped on the peddle and nothing I have a newhome 340 machine , please can you advise me Thanks

I am not familiar with this model. Is there a center knob on the hand-wheel that has to be loosened for the winding?
