I am using my Juki to quilt a normal 'sandwich' of top, batting and backing for a typical cotton quilt. I am having a continuing problem with the top thread breaking often. Sometimes I can stitch 6 or 8 ft. and sometimes only 6 inches or so before the top thread breaks. Please HELP
1)Check the tension of the thread as well as needle. 2) Properly clean and blow out tension dial real well and even the bobbin. Sometimes just the smallest bit of thread or lint will mess things up. 3) Another possibility for this problem is pressure foot dial pressed very tight .Set the dial to zero. This should take the pressure off your material and foot.4) Other possibility can be the type of thread you are using.you can useKing Tut thread .Some of the lesser threads just can't handle the high speed we frame quilters want to go.Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
