I am wondering if I can put a Intel Pentium 4 Processor 3.20 GHz, 512K Cache, 800 MHz FSB into a AOPEN MX4GE motherboard, the socket type is the same but I am not familiar with the FSB settings to determine if it would work. The AOPEN site only shows up to Pentium 4 2.8 ghz
I would guess not, but If you already have them both, then try it. If not then I'd get a cpu or motherboard to match the other. I once got a 2.8ghz p4 and wanted to swap it for a 3.2ghz I had lying around, quickest way was to try it out, it didn't work so I swapped them back and put the 3ghz in another pc later on, both still worked perfectly.
