I bought a bionaire heater from costco. model number BCH9212R=U. Unable to open the remote battery compartment lid from day one. I called customer center and she took down all info and promised to send a replacement which never came. Today i spoke to Letisha who mis spelt my name. I told her T for tango and when she has mis spelt T as D for david, I asked her how could T for tango can become D for David, she said, it should have been T for Thomas. When I told her it is international phonetics, she blamed it on my accent. But she had no problem with the rest of the address. It is sad that you make bad product which malfunctions on the very first day. On top of that you have your letisha with all kind of problems in understanding the letter T for tango and teaches me to say T for Thomas. I hope someone will fix the remote and train letisha. She also wanted to know the number on the metal prong which mounts on the wall socket. it is difficult to read and the lady I spoke to a few days back did not ask for it. Why is there no uniformity?
