I bought a new xbox360. the game that came with it works great. I also bought the guitar hero. when i put in my new disc and it says unreadable. Replaced with a new disc still says unreadable. Other game works fine. Am i missing something? I have followed all the prompts. It is the xbox360 with kinect

If the guitar hero is new, I recommend taking it to where you purchased it and having it replaced. Tell them it will not play on your brand new XBox. Sometimes, rarely, you can get a defective disc.
Hopefully that will fix your problem. If not, you might look into returning the system for a new one.
