I bought a used puch 400.4 for my 1999 dodge durango and plan to use the factory stereo, however ther are no hook ups for rca cables. i heard about line level converters but on the punch 400.4 there are only three sets of rca's one of which are a pass- through. i don't know ehat a pass through does so that leaves me with only two sets of rca's and four speakers to connect. How do you connect them from a factory deck
Connect the speaker wires from the factory receiver to the input screw terminals (marked A1 through A8) and run 2 pairs of RCA cables to the 2 sets of inputs on the 400.4.

Hello riggstr44,
The "pass-through" jacks are outputs that allow you to send the same input to another amp.
Each set of the remaining RCA's handles a pair of channels (2 speakers).
You want a 4-channel LOC like the one shown here:

Connect the speaker wires from the factory receiver to the input screw terminals (marked A1 through A8) and run 2 pairs of RCA cables to the 2 sets of inputs on the 400.4.
Hope this helps.
