If your computer does not reckognize the mic then you have to go online and do a search for drivers for that specific microphone!!! Usually the website for that company will have a free download page... For example you can put in a search for "Logitech drivers" or "Logitech Microphone Drivers" if that was the type of mic you had.. Look for the website first officiaclly then you may have to talk with or put in a ticket with their Customer Service.. Happy Holidays!

After that, the user has to choose the correct "input" device from the Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Audio Tab. Sound Recording section pull-down list. The Loigitech USB Microphone will be listed. After "Apply" or "OK" is clicked, the user can do a test using the Sound Recorder app in Accessories | Entertainment section.
