Try replacing the temperature sending unit in the back of it. Just 2 screws hold it on and 2 wires connected to it. It's just a round button style with a plate and 2 holes for screws to attach it. If it's bad, you'll get no heat to the element. Runs but no heat tells you this is the problem.
