I bought my 70 yr old friend a Nokia 5200 about 2 years ago but when I phone her all I hear is mostly crackling although she can hear what I say. What can we do?

Hi,
1.If this happens only when you call to particular contact, then the problem may be with their mobile phone not with yours.
2. If this happens with all the calls which you make, then the problem may be with your phone.
3. Connect the headset with mic to your mobile and try calling and speaking via headset. If there is no problem, then there may be problem with your mobile earpiece speaker. you have to give your mobile for a service to rectify the hardware problems.
