Report "I bought my Vicks humidifier V745A last winter. It worked for most of the winter but near the end it started acting up. It would steam for maybe 10-15 minutes and shut off, and the reset light was on. Time and time again I tried to shut it off and wait then turn it back on but it still did that same thing. This winter I rinsed it out and all kinds of junk and scales came out of the area where the heating element was so I kept rinsing it out til it seemed to be okay. filled it up and plugged it in--same thing happened. It just won't work"
