Hi, There are couple of reasons for your wireless mouse not to work. Please try changing the batteries first. Make sure that there are no other devices that might interfere with the signal. If the mouse is bluetooth then you might have to re-pair the device with the laptop in order to get better connectivity. On the mouse that you have is there was a "Connect" button that you need to press to get a new signal from the transmitter. Just to let you know, the transmitter is working with infrared; it only goes up to about 20 feet when in-line before it starts losing its signal. Let us know if you are looking for something more else accept the suggestion. Thank You for contacting Fixya.com
