I bought the glowbouy last year. I replaced a bulb, charged it up and now it doesnt work. The light switches on for a split second when i go o switch it from off to light. The light goes on briefly then off but is off when its in the on position. Is there an internal circuit board issue?
Pool & Spa - NRS - CANTAR GLOW BUOY FLOATING POOL LIGHT 92000
I bought mine in 2008, used it once, and it has been on a shelf in my basement until this week. I did find a comment in the manual that indicates that the battery would need a 36 hour continuous charge to recondition the battery if it had not been on the charger for an extended period of time. I have another 24 hours to go before I know if it worked. Anyone out there still dealing with these issues? Or have found a place to get a replacement battery?
It looks like we're all out of luck. My pool company called their distributor for me because she knew he had sold them at one time. However, he ran out of any stock that he had and told her the company was sold and these lights are not being made anymore. That means no warranties, no parts, and no service. Might as well take it apart and see what you can do on your own. I really liked this light, too (sigh) and noticed Walmart and Target are selling similar lights but I'd hate to put that kind of money out again if I can fix the one I have somehow. Good luck everyone. It looks like we're all out of luck. My pool company called their distributor for me because she knew he had sold them at one time. It sounds like your swimming pool light is not holding a charge. This normally indicates that the batteries have expired their useful life and need to be changed. Even rechargeable batteries are not designed for permanent use.

Anyone know where to buy the replacement battery for the green glowbuoy. Have looked everywhere and can't find one.
