Hold the unit sideways over the sink run hot water over the container portion, try to avoid the motor but no worries if you get it a little wet keep the hot running water over until you can separate the pieces... may need a second set of hands
do you have the glass part with the chute? in other words can you add stuff inside without taking it apart right now? if so...try adding boiling water inside, letting it sit for at least 15 minutes and then the try to remove
if still no luck you could submerse the whole think in hot water for hours to separate but you will have to let the motor dry for weeks before you EVERY try to plug it in

I know the motor is not an issue, but if you soak the WHOLE unit you will also soak the motor
doing this is dangerous since you will then ingest water into the electronics
however, since the container has seized itself to the base you are running out of options
