I cannot remove the broken latch arm on my Omega 1000 Juice Extractor to replace it with a new latch arm. I have tried to follow vague instructions on the web, but I cannot remove it. Thanks

It's a real pain and even bigger pain to snap the new one in place. Best way to do it is remove
the 4 screws, not the center one, and separate the base. You will then have access to the
latch arm from within, but remember how everything goes back together again.
