I cannot reset the purifier to shut off the blinking red light. A local Oreck dealer rewashed the truman cell, dried it, and when reinstalled, worked for one day. I metered the voltage from the high voltage power supply and found that power came up for a second and then dropped right off. Bad power supply?

If bad power supply at the socket means try some other supply point.. Check for continuity of supply inside the machine using a continuity tester.
