I can't get a TASCAM MP-GT1 guitar trainer to work. When i attached it to my laptop via USB it says "USB connected need some" on the trainer but I can't seem to be able to load up any MP3's

I can't get a TASCAM MP-GT1 guitar trainer to work. When i attached it to my laptop via USB it says "USB connected need some" on the trainer but I can't seem to be able to load up any MP3's
