I can't get heat through my heater or dashboard vents. I had the thermostat and hoses replaced and lines are all hot; appears problem is vents arn't opening. Is there a switch or are these vacume controlled? Any suggestions?

Your heater core is bad it's located under dash passenger side near blower motor behind plastic cover. Check and see if passenger floor is wet or damp if so for sure sign.
