Report "I can't get the shield off the floor standing, Holmes fan to clean the blades. This model has to be at least 15 years old. There does not seem to be a "quick release" feature to remove the front guard. The fan is white in color and is 3-speeds. Does it require use of tools to remove the the front blade=guard? Any help would be appreciated"
