I can't quit the game. I tried pressing the Esc. button, but it didn't work. I even held the Esc. button, to no avail. Eventually, I had to just press Ctrl. + Esc., but that just minimized the game. If I can't access the Grinch's notebook with the Esc. button, I won't be able to save or load the game, let alone quit it. Please help me

I had the same problem but realized the menu button was F1!
Use the hotkey Ctrl+Alt+Del to start task manager and then right click on the program you want to close. Then just click on end proccess. I think this is happening because your ram or processor is way too below the games requirements.
