Hi, If you forgot the username and password, reset the router.
There will be a button at the back usually that you can press in for about 10 seconds.
This will restore the router back to factory settings. Now try username admin with the following passwords admin or blank (no password) or 1234. Try all the three. Thanks for using Fixya.
If you take a paper clip, or something sharp, and insert it into the little reset hole in the back of the router, and hold for 15 seconds or so, that'll reset the router. Wait for all the lights to stop flashing and remain on, then try to connect to the internet.
Or
you could type www.routerlogin.com into your internet address bar and it'll ask you for the username and password, the defaults are admin and password.. Then, from the menu, find Restore Factory Settings, and Apply it. Wait for the process to complete 100%, this sometimes takes up to 30 seconds after it says it is complete, and then exit the browser. Now open the browser again and you should see your homepage. If you take a paper clip, or something sharp, and insert it into the little reset hole in the back of the router, and hold for 15 seconds or so, that'll reset the router.
