I cleared up my HD-CE500U2 earlier and deleted everything I didn't need and since then, I have restarted my computer and the light on the drive is on, but it isn't being recognised by my compu
I don't know if there's any pre-existing software on the device, but if there was, I probably deleted it by accident, and now there is no way to access the device and therefore no way to get to the files on it.

There is only one way put another harddisk on your system and install the os which you have in old one after installing it and remember do not open any disk untill you didnot put any antivirus and update.
after that shut down your system and put that old hard disk with new one and before access that hard disk scan it properly .
