Hi There!
a friend of mine bought himself a new Jensen car DVD player, he gave me his old one. A Jensen JDVD-3500
i tried to connect it but for some reason, the screen comes on white then goes off
to test it i connected the red and yellow wires to the positive treminal of the car battery and the black to the negative, still the screen comes on White for a few seconds then goes black
the sounds works fine though
what am i doing wrong???

If evrything is ok with the dvd (make sure the dvd is working fine), you need to hook up the yellow/ blue wires and yellow / black wires one for parking breack and the other for the breack chek the diagram on top of the alpine radio .
