I don't know how to work this, we received a Night Owl Explorer Nocx3 for Christmas several years ago. The instructions got lost and it as set in a draw ever since. I have stored the battery out of the monocular and when it is put in and turned on there are flashes of light but i can't see anything. help please

One more thing. DO NOT LOOK THROUGH NV MONOCULAR DURING THE DAY, OR LOOK AT BRIGHT LIGHTS. This will destroy the image intensifier tube. Bright lights will make it go south faster than Speedy Roadrunner. I need parts if the image tube is gone. Night Owl Optics in El Paso, TX will charge you about $200 plus parts and shipping to repair it. So, listen no looky at bright lights in the neighbor bedroom window, hey. GB...stewbison
