I don't think I have the bobbin mechanism in correctly. the piece that the bobbin sits in
The bottom thread is getting stuck in the machine and the stich isn't nice. I don't think I have the piece the bobbin sits in, in the machine correctly

Look in the owners manual, there should be a place that tell about the bobbin case, or try a youtube video for your make and model sewing machine
