I dropped by LXD -55 autostar handcontroller and now the display won't light up and if it does the backlight is so low I can't read it. Can it be saved or do I have to buy a replacement?

I dropped by LXD -55 autostar handcontroller and now the display won't light up and if it does the backlight is so low I can't read it. Can it be saved or do I have to buy a replacement?

Buy a replacement, You broke something inside the hand controller. Possibly the screen ribbon cable was jarred loose a little. After you get the new hand controller, carefully open up the hand controller and make sure the internal cables are all secure.
