I dropped my itb hitachi hard drive, it now makes a beeping sound but doesnt spin up any ideas?
I have removed it from its case and have inserted it into a hardrive docking station, its beeping but doesnt seem to spin up, does anyone have any ideas, foolishly all my music and photos are stored on it. any help would be much appreciated

Hard drives are easily destroyed by dropping them. The drive cannot be fixed. There are companies that can retrieve data off faulty hard drives BUT it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services.
