I dropped my Simpletech 250 gb external drive for several times, now when i plugged in to my pc the red light is on but the blue light is not coming out, and i cannot see the external drive in my pc, how can i recover my files?

Take out the hard disk from your case and put it inside a desktop- if there's still some life left in it it will appear in My Computer. If it doesn't appears even there then it's dead for sure and all the data on it is lost.
