I find it interesting that the help line is only available Monday to Friday.I had called 1-800-880-6788 but to no avail. I will have to remind my unit in the future to only have problems during the week. The carbon monoxide alarm started to beep this afternoon. I reset it and it soon started to beep again. I pressed the peak level button and it had an E 02 CODE.Hmmmmmmm....trying to find out what that means???? Hopefully I will still be around to get your reply. The unit was manufactured on September 10 2009. The model number is KN COPP 3 RC. Any suggestions, in the most timely fashion, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you....Merci!!

Everyone seems to be having problems with this Kidde Night Hawk Combo. Must be the nature of the beast. I think that once they came up with a combo unit, rather than two separate units, it was their downfall. But, that's just my professional opinion. Enough of that. Now to answer your question.
According to Kidde, if you received that E02 code, you should return it to them for repair or replacement. But, don't try to do it without a Return Merchandise Authorization. Unfortunately, you'll have to keep calling Monday - Friday. Remember, the are hundreds of other customers calling, too. Try to be patient.
