I found this heater in a cabin I bought in 2004. I do not have an owner's or maintenance manual for it. There is a half tank of kerosene in it from at least 2004. Does kerosene degrade like gas over time? The inner workings are have shifted and don't sit squarely on the base. How do they need to be positioned correctly? Is there an online PDF maintenance manual?

I don't think this model is still being made and after setting for a long period of time I would not attempt repairs as parts if available will cost you more than a new unit. I think this unit sold for around sixty dollars new.And yes kerosene does degrade over time. Sorry I'M not more help. Thanks.
