Here's a possibility though, check the capacitors filtering the power supply right after the rectifier. Replace them, and upgrade them if possible to a higher uF rating. Make sure you use an equal or higher voltage capacitor, and be sure to note the polarity when replacing it. i would do that but the amp is only about 6 months old!
