I get an E4 error message when I turn on the machine
I have only owned this dishwasher for less than 6 hours and the first time I turn it on, it gives me an E4 message and beeps loudly, and then the "engine" hums but nothing else happens. Not sure what to do.

The first thing I would check is to see if you turned the water valve on under the sink.
