I had exact same problem.replace both your brake/tail bulbs on both sides of car.make sure new bulbs have twin metal connectors instead of single.the single bulb connector was my problem,when i broke the side lights came on and all 3 lights were on when i turned side lights on.this will sort your prob out.hope this helps.let us know how you get on
The common problems with all FORDS is they suffer with bad earthing. Try replacing the earth cable on your rear lights. If this fails it could be a faulty cable located in the relay box, but you should take it to a qualified auto electrician for the work to be carried out safely
