Could have melted a wire, or burnt out a relay. When the fuse blew, it was because something was already overheating from too much amperage. When you bypassed the blown fuse, you stopped that little bit of safety, so whatever it was protecting, it was no longer protecting. Find out what that fuse went to, and start by tracing all of its components
Quite likely either the killswitch shorted out or the starter solenoid has taken a dump. you can cross the posts of the solenoid with a screw driver with the ignition in the on position. if it starts then you have a bad starter solenoid.
