I got a Cisco 7941 and i noticed now with incoming calls. I cannot answer them by the receiver. Instead I have to answer it with a speaker.. Working in an office it is not great to do this. Can you please tell me what the cause of this is?

You have a bad hook switch. The phone has to be disassembled to repair the fault. Refer service to a qualified person.
