I got a new Stanley fat max power station for Christmas, today went to air up a tire (first time ever used) compressor runs great but air will not come out of nozzle. What can I do besides cry?

Read the user manual to see what has to be done to pump air
you may have to put it on the tire stem to depress the valve in the hose and the stem
