I got the companion 3 computer speakers over a year ago and never had any problem until today. the speakers have all of a sudden been making a constant low feedback sound. i disconnected them from my computer and it still occurs. turning off the power stops the noise but when i turn them back on, the noise starts again. any help would be greatly appreciated
You might have to uninstall then rstart your computer then reinstall both the driver and the sound devices click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustmentsthere or control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager, sound, could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers or right click select properties to either troubleshoot, uninstall, rollback driver hope this helps
Try replacing the input cord between the speakers and the computer. the scratching noise normaly comes from a faulty connector. if that doesnt work you may have dirt or dust in contact with the speakers cones or there is an amplifier issue
