I had a flat battery, now fully recharged and load tested but 2004 Polo won't start. Dash remains ON even with key removed. No sound from starter when key is turned to start position. Please help

It sounds like a DEAD battery, due to an electrical short in the dash harness. u must get tat dash checked out & repaired & r/r that battery.
