I had my Fantom in for repairs (filter, light, belt, and cleaning) less than 7 months ago. Now its not picking up again and the brushes are not rotating. Does this mean another belt? At $69+ every 6 months, I'm thinking of getting another vacum. Any suggestions? Thanks, Judy
Sounds like you are going to need a new belt. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to have the edges of the roller clean because hair and carpet can wind up on the edges making it harder for the roller to turn.
Pull off brush after removing the bottom cover. The pull off belt. Slip new belt on the motor and the brush, put brush back on and then put cover on and tighten.Pull off brush after removing the bottom cover. The pull off belt.
