I had my oil-filled radiator heater on last night in my bedroom, the door was cracked. I had it turned up on the highest settings (both temperature and wattage). Sometime during the night it quit. The light won't work and no heat comes out. Should I just get a new one?

Let me ask, What did the door have to do with it? :-) Have you chk'd the house circuit breakers. Are you sure someone didn't turn it off? Those units have timers on many models. Did it time out? Plug it in another receptacle and try it one more time before replacing it.They are also thermally protected to prevent overheating in case someone turns it to max near an open bedroom door and goes to sleep. Kidding, but the thermal safety is there If all considered and still inoperative, junk it and get a better one. Good Luck
