DO I NEED A NEW ADAPTER IF SO DO YOU PROVIDE ONE OR I NEED A NEW SCREEN OLY HAD THIS ONE ABOUT 2 YEARS

Try monitor on different computer to isolate the anomaly. If it works fine you have an issue with your current computer. If it doesn't then the issue is with the monitor.
