I have 2 sm58 radio mics these are very old when i switch off the mic handset it gives an ear spiltting spiltting sound like consant interference can any one help
One one reciver i cant get no sound out of it if i turn the squelch up a bit it wont let me just ear splittin noise can anyone help

try setting the squelch up this should stop the interferance when turning mike off

Sounds like your wireless transmitters (mic) and receivers have drifted from their original factory set frequency. Also, older units may fall into the "illegal " 700Mhz frequency band and should not be used...
