I have 2010 fusion that has been involved in an accident and doesn't start any more . dealer told me about some reset switch but I dont know where its at!
This unit does not have a fuel inertia switch. I would check all the fuses to see if any have blown. Fuse #30 in the engine compartment panel is a 30 amp fuse and it is for the fuel pump. Check this if you don't hear the pump running when you turn key. Pump should run for 2-5 seconds when key is cycled. Hope this helps. Cobra.. :-)
I looked at the wiring schematic and couldn't find the switch anywhere in the diagram. If it is there I am sorry I must have missed it. Must be going blind.. lolI looked at the wiring schematic and couldn't find the switch anywhere in the diagram. If it is there I am sorry I must have missed it. Must be going blind.. lol
The reset switch is located at the front "a" pillar near where your foot would kick, sometimes called the kick panel for this reason.....the switch is called an inertia switch becuase it shuts off the fuel in the event of a collision, now im from australia, where the driver sits on the right and the inertia switch is on the left, it is behind the plastic panel, be careful not to break as you bend it back,,,,,,,good luck
