I have 3 FIM70 ice makers. 2 work fine but the third one makes very thin ice and the cubes it does drop into the bin melt away. It throws off a lot of heat. The air circulation is good so thats not the problem
Freezers - Franklin - Freezer Chef FIM70 Commercial Ice Maker
Well it only drops into the bin after the Cubes reach a certin density,, The thin Ice Cubes Will account for this.. The only Thing I can think Of is that it isnt getting cold enough Or the Tray mixer is a defective.. You can try adjusting the temperature (if Possible) or you can use a thermometer to check the temp difference between the working and no working onesto verify my theory is correct.. If you have warranty I'd use If ,, If not ,, Variables that affect temperature
These ice makers should be cleaned occasionally. I don't mean just pressing the clean button, although that is important too. If it isn't spraying enough water, then it won't form a thick enough sheet of ice. Here is a link to a manual. Buy some ice maker cleaner and follow the directions to clean it. Check the flow from the sprayer arm. You can compare water flow to one of your operating machines. Here is link to a manual.

Hello. The symptoms you describe indicate that an interior cleaning is in order:
The ice storage bin should be sanitized occasionally. Clean the bin before the ice maker is
used for the first time and reused after stopping for an extended period of time. It is
usually convenient to sanitize the bin after the ice making system has been cleaned and
the storage bin is empty.
1. Disconnect power to the unit.
2. Open the door and with a clean cloth, wipe down the interior with a sanitizing
solution made of 1 ounce of household bleach or chlorine and 2 gallons of hot water
(95? to 115?F).
3. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. The waste water will be drained off through the
drainpipe.
4. Reconnect power to the unit.
Here is the owner manual in case you do not have one:
