I have a 03 lincoln ls.it has new plugs,complete tune up..the car runs good exept for when i stop at the light..if im at the light too long it starts shaking and goes in failsafe mode.before this staqrted i noticed that when i would take off it would take a few seconds to pull out after pressing the gas pedal..unless i would press hard.but it would feel like it would pull hard then like hessitate...any one had this? its a v8

I own a 2003 ls V8. I had this same problem. Coils bad, oil leaking on them and the spark plugs, car stalling out like crazy. There is a Recall for this exact problem. My car is currently being fixed at my local ford dealer for free. Coils are being replaced, valve covers, spark plugs. Don't let anybody else tell you what the problem is, like the dealership to be specific. My friend and I took apart the engine, it's a jaguar engine btw and its a pain in the ****. anyways, all 8 coils were soaked in oil, all of the spark plugs and a coil was blown. That is why the car stalls. A coil is 100% blown. Find the warranty on the internet, but more importantly just stand firm and tell them you know all about the warranty, which is everything I just told you. You should be golden. I was.
Check extended warranty on COP and valve cover gaskets. Common problem on LS. Ignition coils go bad causing misfires and may trigger sensor for failsafe mode.
