I have a 1983 popeye arcade machine. the circut board that controls the vert hold for the monitor has 4 knobs for vert., sound, horiz., and bright. thevert. hold knob is busted off and the screen has just a thin red line that runs across it when the game is on. how can i fix this?

If this is a Sanyo EZV20 monitor, then the vertical hold knob is a 200K ohm pot. FYI the other knobs on this PCB are, Volume - 50K, Brightness - 10K, Horiz Center - 100K, Vertical Size - 50K. For the schematic, check out my web site:
VR353 is a 200k pot that feeds directly in to the vertical oscillation input of the chip on the main board at connection B1. If this pot is broken, you must replace the pot in order to get any vertical oscillation at all.
