I have a 1986 silver spirit which looses power .it will tick over and run for about one minute .when you accelerate it looses all power .is this a fuel starvation problem.if i turn the car off then start up after a minute it will run for another minute then again loose power

Check fuel pressure, ignition source , timing,plugs ,dist& rotor ,coil ,sensors , does check engine ligth on or comes on . just turn key on no start see if check engine ligth comes on
